Yes, the math game sounds interesting, especially the use of family members' and Pern names

The math game was fun. Some of the card questions is fractions. Some of us do not remember a lot of fractions wich puts Kibbie ahead of the rest of us. She finds it funny when SHE knows how to do a problem that one of us does not know how to do.

I do not think my sholder is a muscle problme. I hed Xrays done 3 weeks ago and the Dr. STILL has not called me back about them. I am going to try and get a hold of him tomorrow.

It's only just after lunchtime here so I'll just have a for now. Math games are a good idea. I'll have to think up some to play with my granddaughter. I was playing with her with some crayons earlier and I said "if you have five and I take one away, how many will you have?" She, of course, said "why are you taking it away?" Honestly though, she's making good progress with reading and "numbers" for a four-year-old.

I am not sure what is wrong with my shoulder, it hurts a lot when I move my arm very much. It has gotten a lot worse since Dragoncon. I still have not heard back from the DR. yet.

Tomorrow I am going food shopping with Mom and Kibby. YEAH what fun.

Sorry to hear your so bored Edi, I can think of a thousand and one things I would love to do in the Netherlands...and boredom just isn't one of them. Have you had any time at all to travel around the city your in? Aren't you in Delft?

Sandi...I also tried the crayola counting trick when my girls, when they were three and four-ish...and got pretty much the same response you did, along with what are you going to draw with that crayola Grammie?

I am but it was raining last night. A lot.
I've done a bit of wandering about in Delft. I'm going to go to The Hague in a couple of weeks to visit the Escher museum there.
I have to do revision at the moment though

Kibby has done a real good job on the math and wants to try and sell it. If I can figure out how I think it would have a shot. Especialy if I can figure out how to personlize it for diffrent people. I don't think it would be that hard. I can use the same problems, just reword them for a family. That is what I did for Kibby. I took word problem from her workbook and reworded them so they read something like...
If Jewelth flames 1349 strands of thread in one threadfall, 556 in a second and 9875 in the third fall how many strands of thread did she flame in all?

Using those number I can reword it to fit anyone or any hobby almost.

hehe.....I like a warm fire. May I add a loaf of zuchinni bread and some cherry cordials. But these cordials are not for minors!!! The cherries have been soaking in goldschlager, capt. morgan, and southern comfort since feburary. They can be a bit potent, but a nice treat with a cup of tea or hot cocoa.

KIBBIE! you heard her hands off the cherry cordials.

Kibbie was trying to sneak some.

Kibbie made dinner tonight for hubby's birthday. She made Chicken Parmasian, green bean casarole, Hawian bread and a birthday cake. She did a very good job.

It did take me all day to clean up the kitchen.
Today has been a day when she has wanted to argue with EVERYTHING she is asked to do. She is driving me bonker, one minutes she is a sweet loving child, the next she is the devils spone. Today I would gladly send her to milatary school or see if anyone was intested in a forgian exchange student for a couple of weeks. Of course I can not afford either.

Don't mind me all this arguing is getting me depressed. I do think it would be good for her to ba a fargain exchange student. I think that it is good for a teen to experance different cultures. I would only let her go if I knew the person she was going to be staying with. If I had the space and money I would love to take a stundent in, I think that would be fun.

How about finding a swap: Kibbie in exchange for some young European (male?)
