I'd better open one then. I WAS going to lay them down for a virtual posterity. But we do NEED to try one, to see whether it's up to scratch. Don't we?

Right: I've bagged Hans' favorite opener: hold out your glasses.

By the way: e-baying Pern has brought up an interesting piece of jewelery: an ear 'dressing' with a dragon in it.

You still want more after the quaffing that went on in the chatroom lastnight?

Okay but this time YOU clean up the carpets!

I'll just line them up on the bar and you can help yourselves. I'll even leave you each a refill (or two).

Yes, a party, that's what we need. What kind of decorations do we need for walking the tables? And of course, the Benden. Always Benden!! (Funny, I don't normally drink this much.)

Sounds perfect for our friend P'ter, edith. We need to sober him up a bit so we can have some toasts for our new Journeyman (-woman?). Give him a double helping with some of that coffee ice cream. And I'll try a little pinch while you're at it, though I'm not a big fan of chilli.

Takes out cake and divides it up.

You could always give P'ter a lump of the chilli chocolate, it really wakes you up! Especially if you're expecting something else

Am I late or would that make a good excuse to extend the party? I can pre measure goodies for your various recipes and have them ready for mixing and tweaking then cooking . . . I think I'll go see what is in the cellar (don't you realize that P'ter was sleeping on the secret hatch to go down to the wine cellar? Anything else, I'll sent my flit with messages. Who is on transport duty?
