Yes, Pam. It's Carthage well done The Mediterranean Sea and Cap Bon in the background and the remains of what once was one of the most important cities in the (then nown) world in the foreground, hard to imagine eh?

Hannibal left from here on his famous and heroic trek to Rome. Tunesia , Algeria and Libya have far more Roman ruins (often in a surprisingly good state) than a lot of people think. I'll see if I can upload a few pics when I am back home.
