Yes, it's one of Anne's gothic romance novels. It's short and enjoyable!

Your link isn't working for me, so I don't know if the copy you've found is at a good price or not. Used copies can be found for $5-10, and new copies are sold for $16.

I relinked, I hope it works. I'm not going to get it. I was just wondering about it because I had not heard of it before. It looked intresting.

The Mark of Merlin and Ring of Fear and The Kilternan Legacy are three books that can also be found combined in paperback form called Three Women and also in hardcover in Three Gothic Novels. (the hardcover is hard to find and pricey tho)
I enjoy all Anne's 'romance' novels tho there is always some mystery involved so I sort of think of them as mystery novels more than romance.

Becky did a fantastic Collectors Highlight on the three-in-one hardcover (for anyone interested).

And the Mark of Merlin is worth a read, it's a great little book.

I have "Three Gothic Novels" - the three-in-one hardcover. Totally enjoyed the three stories, though the ending of "Ring of Fear" was a bit...I don't know...silly, to me.

If memory serves me the paperback trilogy is titled "Three Women" and I think I have a spare copy...

You are correct Hans, the paperback is titled Three Women.
I also enjoy her books, The Year of the Lucy and Stitch in Snow. Both of these books tell a good story. I always picture Anne herself in Stitch in Snow, since it's written based on her own experiences traveling around to book signings.

Except that, as far as we know, she has never been the alibi for a murder suspect (so far).

You're confessing it was YOU who started the murders?

That sounds like The Lady, one I forgot to include in my list of her 'romances when I posted earlier. Love that one too. Heck, I love pretty much all her books. Only a couple that I don't care to read again.
