Ooh... that is a beautiful ceiling!

I'm pretty sure that it's from the UK by the style...

Is it in the Fens area?

Edith: I know exactly what you're getting at but no, it's not Dukes Denver. (Totally off thread; I tried drawing a plan of Tallboys from the written description in Busman's Honeymoon and it's impossible, the two little back stairs don't fit in.)

Everyone else: yes.

I was thinking more of Fenchurch St Paul where the Angel Roof is a clue

Oops! Though Harriet Vane does change from a complete city dweller in Have His Carcass where it is quite important plot-wise, to a girl from a country town in Busman's Honeymoon.

The Midlands then?

Yes and yes.

(Edith: in typical author fashion, Dorothy seems to have bagged the siting from Sts Peter & Paul at Upwell (which she lived near for twenty years of so), the building from St Mary Magdalene at Wiggenhall and the roof from St Mary & All Saints at Willingham.)

I'll ask the obvious question: is it a church roof?

Okay that was short and sweet.

Yes, it's the roof over the nave at the Collegieate Church of St Peter, Wolverhampton.

Jube was the first (and only) one to get it.

Apparently I know my "bosses" too well, Hans, although I probably would have given it an extra day or 2 for people to look for it too!
