There's a chance that I might be able to get some signed scripts for people, as well as programs and posters and suchlike...but I'll have to see and post nearer to the time if that's actually an option.

I don't suppose anyone on MoM is planning to come and see it? (No idea where most Englanders are situated. xD ).
I would love to come down but could only do the Sunday and it's not really practical for that weekend

Funnily enough, though, my niece is actually a student at De Montford University but I don't think she would really relish a visit from her old auntie

If you could put me on the list for the programme etc Sara I would be very grateful - pretty please.

Sara...this is so exciting. Oh how I wish that Martin and I could come and congratulate you in person, on the night of your triumph with this play.
I am so glad that it is going so well for you. The poster is absolutely beautiful...and has a very professional look to it, as well as something special. It might get more than a few people interested in seeing your play.
I would also love to have a signed poster...and if it could come with photos of you and the cast...that would be fantastic.
Have the most wonderful opening night...enjoy yourself as much as you can...I would say *Break a Leg* for luck...but you won't need it. All our best for a fanastic evening

Oh wow! I really really wish I could come. My "dad" used to live in Midlands (he is now off with a new lady in Portugal), but seeing the dates and place I was really tempted to come taking my son with me as well. He has just been reading Dragonsong for the first time in English (he has read it in Danish before), and he loves Dragonsong the best, but he has just requested Dragonsinger in English too and questioned me about the rest of the dragon books. I think we have a new dedicated fan here

I would love to get a poster or two - one for each of us, my son and I It is a beautiful poster and your puppet dragon is very good.

I wish you all the best with rehearsals and play!!!!!!!!!!!

*wishing I could be there*

Hey Guys! I need your help!

I contact Anchorage Press Plays in order to see whether I would be allowed to film the performance (I know a lot of you guys would like to see it, and I'd kinda like to get a copy to Anne), but they told me to get in contact with Irene Elliott (the playwrite)...but I have no idea how to do that. They weren't partcilarly helpful in terms of a contact email address or whatever.

I don't suppose anyone has any ideas or contacts at all?

I'd say go ahead and film it anyway.

I'll search if I have anything about her and if not, will contact Anne to see if she has an address. Plus, I guess, if you get Anne's permission you're pretty safe

In that case I shall send her an email over the next few days. I guess I could always film it and then hold off on showing other people the film until I get permission.

Sara, I'd advise you to film it anyway. As you say, there's no need to show others until you've pinned down the permission/copyright issues. But if you don't'film it, you'll never have that option and may end up regretting it

The theatre group I belong to frequently films a show. It's a huge success at the after show party because, of course, the cast want to see themselves.
I don't think it's ever occurred to anyone to check for copyrights - not as if it's being shown publically.

LoL I've just remembered YouTube! Perhaps it could be made limited access - permission required?

Red face Re: Dragonsong - The Musical

I hope it goes well, for you. Let know what I need to do, hopefully, you don't mine till after we've moved end of January, 2010. For I well have more funds free, + I don't have Paypal setup but I might by them? Or I shall have to find another way to get the payment to you.

Go for it, I hope you can do something for us who have low vision, I do have some links to how to do that I could ask. For that way we can see what going on, I used this example it like close caption (OC), for those who can't hear, audio discription (sp) is tell what is going on for those who can't see.

Thank you!

I will settle for two unsigned posters if necessary, and I can pay your costs by PayPal - just let me know!

I wish you all the best with the performance, and if you tape the performance somehow, I would like a copy of the media too!

Thank you for doing this service, you are a peach!

OPENING NIGHT TONIGHT!!!

Ahhhh! It's going to be epic!

Also, I've emailed Anne regarding videoing, but I haven't had a reply. Should I video anyway so I don't lose the opportunity? Also, I have put in at least two/three hours solidly trying to find a contact for Irene Elliott, but I've been unsuccessful. Any ideas?

-Fidgits- It's going to be so, so good. The dress rehearsal last night was brilliant, so I have every confidance in my cast.

The firelizard pupets look marvelous...I would dearly love to own one of those...but hopefully you will add them to your own collection as a fond rememberence of your tryimph.
Have a blast...and by all means R E C O R D it...it's to special to pass up.
