Slipping in Quietly

Hi y'all. After two weeks in a place called ACCU which could probably pass for between, I am now staying with my daughter until I can get back on my feet. I will try to check in as I can but I'm not real strong yet and I don't think her compy likes me much. Hope everything is better for all of the rest of you.

Hope you'll soon be back in full high definition.

Health scares are never nice. I've just had a minor one (nowhere as bad as yours). After weeks of upset tummies I've had a colonoscopy and all seems to be clear in there so no cancer, ulceritive colitis, Krohns, or diverticulitis. The current diagnosis is Irritable Bowel Syndrome!

P.S. I'm NOT trying to highjack your thread.

I went to the cardiologist office Monday and they seem to agree that I am making good progress. I've gained back at least some of the weight I dropped and am getting stronger and more mobile. The hardest part of the visit for me was going through the tornado ravaged areas so near the medical center. It still amazes me that the hospital and the medical buildings were missed when so much was so totally destroyed so near them. As bad as it was, it could have been so very much worse.

I wish we could work something out! Weight can be a challenge, whichever way you're trying to change it. I've been practicing walking around without my leash (oxygen tube) and have managed to go several hours without a snort so I think I'm doing good. Weight is up to 91 which is a big improvement, believe it or not. I think I'll probably still be at my daughters a while longer but I am making steady progress. Thanks for all the good wishes and vibes!

I did training with my white cane early on today, and its harder then it was before the 'sun glare', was light blinding me most of the way to and from, on the way back, I had to stop and rest, also take my drops for my 'dry eye' while I was walking, like I had one too many to drink, but that is why I need the second support cane.

The other day we had mid 90'th cloudy and muggy, and I could 'smell the rain in the air, that was coming. I got home, but by the time, Dan J and I met and we helped each other home. I asked him for I don't know the way, on top of having a 'flashed trigger migraine on top of it too.

Its came at night, but I did 'see' the clouds of the T-Storm, before it came, was one tree limb in my way I had to move, today, its going to take time to get to and from the bus stop then before.

Sandi...please...slow and steady is always the best when recovering from heart problems. I grew up with my Dad in and out of the hospital with heart problems. You just can't rush the heart...it truly has a mind of its own...wink!!

SLOW and STEADY wins the race...as I've heard it said
