Default I will be in London mid February...

Any chance of meeting anybody if these plans get real?

I might be in London from Febr 15-20
Flying in from Stansted and staying in Rose Court Hotel just north of Hyde Park together with my wife. Son will fly out with us but visiting a friend in Suffolk.

I hope you succeed in gathering with a couple of fellow MoM'ers in February. I won't be there, but I am looking forward to meeting you and hopefully a couple of other MoM'ers in Copenhagen in September.

And it actually looks like there is a chance that we might be moving to Leiden in a year (if not Leiden, then Edinburgh) - if so, we could have a Dutch gather.

To Leiden! That would be nice and close by

Folks, my wife needs to be able to take the necessary days of, which seems suddenly difficult as there are two important meetings (one on the day we wanted to leave and one on the day we wanted to return) that actually should have her attendance. We are trying to work it out. Son will go tho his friend in Suffolk anyway.

Have a great time in London, Hans - I know it's close, but we've got the 'time off' issue as well, and - well, we'll just have to wait for September!

Hans

If you have to delay the visit until March I will be there from 6th to 8th.

Its a Family History short break visiting the Family Records Centre, National Archives etc. Although saying that we usually get distracted by good meals out and Kew Gardens

This time I've suggested seeing a show for a change .

LL & I were in London at the beginning of December (in a hotel just north of Hyde Park in fact, but not that one)...

And while I have a week off in February, it's the very end (i.e. the week beginning the 26th, so it's actually more March than February).

Fates conspire against us!

-Nods- That's the plan. I just have to wait for my University offers first to check the dates and whatnot. I'll want to pick your brains regarding Archivist-activities and whatnot. I've decided I want that as my 'craft', as it were...^^;

Hope you enjoy yourself in London in any case.

No problem Jax, we're on a rather tight schedule and don't seem to have much spare time with what we want and need to do and I certainly don';t want people to spend an inordinate amount of money just to have a drink with me
