Default Jamaillia Headwoman Southern Weyr

On a trip to the southern Continent, I was happy to make a friend of Jamaillia, the Headwoman of the Southern Weyr, and made this portrait of her and her firelizard friend Grana.

This is our wonderful member Granath, and it was my pleasure to do this portrait of her. I hope you will enjoy her portriat.........Maelin

Oh, it's wonderful to finally see the full size version of this one! I get a sneak peak at many of them, when I make avatars, but Granath did her own avatar...

I love the details like keys and other items and pockets.

Beautiful as always!

Lovely. And nice work on the detail, you can tell what she might be even without the name and position on the portrait.

Another wonderful portrait! The details are what make the portraits. Lovely subject and talented artist! I do love getting to see the big version finally.

A lovely portrait indeed even though I was out of a little by the hair colour at first (I've met Granath in real life ), but it's a great portrait yet again!

Sometimes it is a little difficult trying to figure out how to

show in such a small space what the character

does. ...........

I have opted to put in small details, that hopefully will help

show it. A few of the members have found out and stated

back to me, that sometimes you have to look very

close-up at some of the details to find out what the

character does.

Edi, I did give you a very tiny, and different from the others detail. But you will have to look close, to see it.

Edi, it is no secret, so I will tell you to look inside the gold cirle at the end of the Firelizard pad ??? I tried to give you something that said smith, and that is what I came up with, hope you approve, and like it.

It's and anvil, with a hammer resting on top of it. They were the only things that I could think of for "The Smith" badge, that would denote the craft. Like I said before I hope that you like it.

Cheryl, Thank you for posting the colored badges of Pern. I don't use them as I have not been able to figure out where to show them properly on the Portraits.

I opted to show who or what, the person was or did, with the gold decoration at the end of the Firelizard pads. So I have ended up with a few odd looking items inside the circle of the decoration.
