As much as I would love to have Lady M come & pain a mural on my wall I doubt I could afford it. As she said I was kidding anyway.

I was thinking in the future of getting one from here

Wow, what a beautiful portrait! I'm catching a strong Obama resemblance... which seems appropriate due to their shared banners of hope and change I love that you got the detail of his forelock falling over his eye

I would have to agree with Cavatica on the coloring. Although he looks a little more coppery orange than straight plain orange. I think he could have used a bit more of a greenish tinge, but still, a wonderful coloring job. Well done!

Spiffy...to get such a lovely compliment from a fellow artist, that I so much admire his artwork , is wonderful. Thank you so very much

P.S. There is actually a full layer of green in the coloring...but it doesn't show up very well, especially after being loaded onto the computer. Originally it was to quite a bit darker...but unfortunately it didn't work out that way, as you and a few others have made comments about.

P.S. Sorry this one took so long to get put up, as I've had it done for about six month, but my husband and I have recently moved into a new home and I have had so many other things to do than my artwork, in just getting us settled in, that putting up my last two *Pern Portraits* they got push into the dusty recesses my mind...

Thank you GHarris and Talisath for bringing this to my attention I really hope you two enjoy it.

Vlor...Oh I am glad that you got to see this one...and that you've enjoyed it so much. I really love drawing the Pern Portraits, and helping to bring alive in some other fans minds the characters and scenes, that Anne so lovingly created.

That is the greatest part. I would love to have the ability to create an image from the ideas in my head. A truly awesome skill!

See, I can imagine it just fine. Then I go find someone that has the arty parts. Did so for both of my tattoos.

Vlor...that'll work just find for you...until you run out of skin...

I had a neighbor boy, who as he grew up I taught him how to draw and paint...he went on to be an incredible tattoo artist, and the first tattoo he did on himself, was of a Pern Dragon, in my honor. I warned him of the same thing......thats why he decided to do them on other people skin

So very true! I am lucky that funds and a serious desire to only allow good art on my bodyhave kept me in check. Common sense goes a long way. I would show the two pieces I mentioned, but don't know where to put them on here.
