Great panaramic photo of the Cotswolds...but I love the second one, that is just a
beautiful landscape photo...no wonder the old masters loved painting there.

Funny you mention that, Maelin, because another photo of the cotswolds I have on flickr triggered this comment:

Incredible sky! You've brought one of the old Dutch master's skies with you

this was the photo in question:

You'd think, living in the city, I'd have cityscapes. No, I have rural shots in a far greater abundance.

Thank you, Lady Maelin! A comment like that coming from you is extra treasured

Blondmon... Chicken Road? I hesitate to ask what the surrounding roads are called

AnnMarie: a barn with a basement, extraordinary.

I had several pics for this topic, and then last week my hard drive crashed. A lot of photos are gone, along with a lot of documents. I had a repairman try to retrieve the info, and I'm betting that he didn't try to save the folder with those pics in it because it was marked "Adobe". I guess I should be happy with what I got.

Hans, it's actually not a barn...It's the Old Cove Warehouse in Weathersfield, Ct. The water you see in the right of the picture is Weathersfield Cove, once a major port.

I missed you're photos AnnMarie...?

Hans...the new Cotswald photo is beautiful too, but not quite as artistic to me as the one I mentioned before...I keep seeing it with a dragon or two flying over head...wink!!!

One of my Tennessee ancestors married a woman who lived on the Chicken Road. I had to go find it.

Ann Marie I am going to go check out the Wethersfield Cove, the next time my son and I have a day together (he lives nearby)
