On where people can post feedback, so it makes it easy to keep track replies and people can leave it with out miss up the main forumL http://forums.srellim.org/forumdisplay.php?f=46
What do call it child forum? I was many thinking of the written works, that way if people have addtion they go over the main work then post feedback on a differnt thread? Or if there its new a person forgot to post one create one with to make easy on all? To me the feedback on some are get hard to keep track of when we post new threads, just an idea

I prefer to keep exhibits and feedback within the same forum. Most of the time the feedback can go within the thread with the art/story/poem/etc. In the event that it is an ongoing story and a separate thread needs to be made, then it should have an appropriate title to make it easy to find (and use the forum search for).
Putting feedback in a separate forum does not make it easier to find the appropriate feedback thread. It makes it take a lot more clicking to find, and it means going back and forth between forums if multiple stories and their feedback are being read back to back.

Those posting ongoing stories should say so at the beginning of their first post (and there being more than one post from the author should also be a tipoff), so that it is clear that feedback needs to go in another thread in that forum.

By the way, I know some time people do forget to add or create a feedback thread, so I think who ever reading it the first time creates the feedback?

I think creating a feedback thread should be left to the author, Ginny. I can imagine that people sometimes do not want a feedback thread and just want to put something they created in the forum. A feedback thread is not compulsory.
If the member wants feedback I suppose he/she should say so at the end of the exhibit post, so to speak. Point is not everything needs a feedback thread and not everyone wants one.

True, but unless the person posting the story or artwork specifically requests no feedback, someone else might post a feedback thread... I know I've done that in the past. So my suggestion is that if you really do not want any feedback, say so in your post.

After reading all of these comments...I still think that it should still be left up to the author of said writings to state whether they do or don't want a seperate feedback thread. Any one can privately PM any of the authors and ask them if they forgot it, instead of taking it upon themselves to do it for the author. After all its the author's work, not the readers, so in my opinion it should be the author who's also creating the feedback.

That's a very good point Lady Maelin. Still, it would be easier if the author or artist would say what they want.
