Hello everyone!

My name is ThistleProse and I've been a fan of Anne's worlds for quite a long time now. I run a forum rp based on her Dragonriders of Pern since 2012, and I've found this website to be a great help when it comes to digging up information about Pern and the dragons that live there!

I'm currently reading the Mr. Mercedes series by Stephen King, and I'm really enjoying it so far!

For the rest of the month, and the past two years, I've been living in Canada, but I'm going home again come November. I'm both saddened and excited. Two years is a long time to be away!

Its nice to officially meet everyone!

I'm retired and able to make my own time - but still don't seem to spend very much of it actually writing. Today's effort was all on our family's history website - about the building of the beer-bottle house on Norfolk Island in the 1960s.

I have at least 25 years before I can think about retirement, but I'm single with no kids, so I should have more spare time than I do! I help out with my extended family a lot, though. My grandma is recently widowed, and she lives nearby so I spend a lot of time with her.

Hello! I'm Seanni (not real name, but I'd like to be called that on this site), an Anne McCaffery fan. I started out with her Pern novels and I now have most of the Pern novels, the Freedom's Landing series, the Crystal Singer series, and the Acorna series at home. I really love to write and have many fanfictions (mostly Warrior Cats but one DoP) and a couple of books (all unpublished for now). I decided to join this site mostly to discuss Pern and insert my two cents.

I don't know why, but it seems to be raining second-hand Anne McCaffrey books in Wellington right now. I was in two bookstores that had a whole shelf of them - so I put a hardback copy of "The White Dragon" on layby.
