Default I Gott'em All!

I picked up paperbacks of To Ride Pegasus, Pegasus in FLight and Pegasus in Space. From ROWAN to TOWER AND HIVE, I got hard covers.

I spent WAY too much money this weekend.

The Rowan is my favourite!

"The name rowan is believed to derive from the Norse runa - "a charm". It was often planted outside houses to ward off witches. On May Day a spray of rowan leaves was hung over doors to repel evil, and wells dressed with rowan to keep witches away. The rowan, or mountain ash, is found commonly in Scotland, sometimes clinging to a rock face."

WOW!!! AnnMarie...that is a fantastic buy. At least you will have
years of reading and re-reading ahead of you...and with HC's, you
will at least know that the books will hold together for it all.

P.S. I full well know how you feel with spending to much money in
the dealers rooms...but when you see that many books for sale
all in one place it's just to hard to say nooooooooooooo.

The Rowan
Damia
Damia's Children
Lyon's Pride
The Tower and the Hive

There are also the Pegasus books, which I guess you could call prequels. They are in the same universe and show the developement of controllable talent and even the beginnings of FT&T. They are:
To Ride Pegasus
Pegasus in Flight
Pegasus in Space

I think that's all of them, but I'm sure someone will remind me if I missed something.

Nope, you got it.

There are also two short stories in Get off the Unicorn, Lady in the Tower which grew into The Rowan and another story about Afra and Damia. It's really interesting to see how the stories changed with the rewriting. In particular, there's one scene where Afra's eyes tear up when Jeff first arrives at Callisto, in The Rowan this is explained away with there not being anything in the cake he was eating that would make him tear up. In the short, he's smoking a cigarette! Lady in the Tower is an older story than Weyr Search, the first Pern story.

I love my library system here in vegas. i can go online and see all the books in all the clark county libraries and request them and pick them up at my "home" library. never takes more than 3 days. as soon as i am done with the brainship books for MQ i am getting this list! My Home library is literally a hop over the fence so i am in HEAVEN!!!! I cant wait to read more of this series. Thanks Kevia, Granath.
