Facebook Group - A Meeting of Minds

Hi All,
It's been ages since I could get on here. My computer died & I didn't think to search for my login in my emails. I just wondered if any of you have migrated across to any of the Facebook groups? I have just recommended the group to someone as the bought some fan based magazines in an estate sale & wanted some information (the are called Harper Beat & Weir Words). The group is The Anne McCaffrey Appreciation Society & not long ago, Anne's son, Alec joined. This was lovely as you can imagine

So, I will take my leave. I am trying to type on my phone & it's finding the group hard (as well as trying to tell me it's unsafe &#128580

Can't join that group, can't get in fb.

I have belonged to one group on FB and deleted it because nobody ever made any comments. I have FB on my phone and on my tablet. It works better on the phone, not sure why. I have just a small number of friends there, mostly family and a few I have known online for many years. It keeps me connected to people in other countries in a way email could not.

Nice to see you here. Maybe you'll return and have a look around?

FB wouldn't let me in, no picture, now they've blocked me! Just now tried it, it's telling me "enter a valid email"!

Lots of complaints about facebook doing weird things lately - like banning people from posting pictures of a five inch plushie dragon because it is against their policy to sell live animals. You can imagine the reaction from a dragon-themed group.

vyon, do you know if any of the other regulars from the KT made the trip to fb? There were a couple people that I only saw there.

Some did, but it isn't always easy to tell, because we're mostly using our own names.

Harpper Beat yes, I recall most ly the works are on .PDF. I think. I am sorry Don;'tt don't recall which group off the top of my head, I am a new member to StarRise Weyr as a Master Potter before my own computer crashted , and my vision was lost , , sorry I am not at full power, trying to post hyperlinks with my system for speach to text is hard, and even harder is working Facebook with it, a few are their. 'unsure' I do have some of the info saved offline if you PM me I might be able to send you in the rightway to find more informinformation. might take a time to answer and find my links, I need sighted aid to find stuff now that my ssight is now gone, when I was active I could stil see., I have had low vision only in the last few years has my vision has fully gone.
