Well the new Star Trek movie is coming out next May. I found a Trailer and photo of the new Enterprise. I'll let you judge for yourself on what she looks like.

That's looks like it's a lot darker sort of Star Trek than I'm used to. I wonder how it compares to Gene Roddenberry's vision for the series/show? From the short clip it looked like it was going back to the childhoods of Kirk and Spock, though the Kirk I "knew", I can't imagine him having that sort of violent childhood. Interesting, not sure I'd go to see it. Maybe when it comes to tv. . .

Priscilla This takes place before TOS and the episode the Cage and after the Romulan war as I understand it. It also involves time travel as Nimoy is in it portraying Spock from the future trying to stop a Romulan from the future from altering the past. There is no mention of Capt. Robert April as is mentioned in Whitfield's book the Making of Star Trek. The movie has Capt. Pike as the first Capt. of the Enterprise. On the official movie site is a link to the forum for it and other Star Trek discussions.

That looks mighty interesting but did that have to put sex in it? It's not that I don't like it, but... ah well. I'll definitely will go see this one Looks very funny wioth those "young versions" and the special effects are very promising.

I know the young Spock is played by the actor who plays Sylar on Heroes. I thought the movie was originally scheduled for Xmas this year...I guess it is like Harry Potter and got moved to next year for monetary reasons...

Come on Hans...tell us true....you really wouldn't enjoy seeing some hot green whooooopie going on, up there on the big screen, between a young kirk, and one of the luscious Green skimpily clad Orion slave girls...I mean really, what guy woudn't. Through in a bare Kirk, and you've got a whole lot of women enjoying that same sceen too...
