Artist Robin Wood has died
Robin Wood, known by many Pern fans as the artist who created the portraits in The People of Pern, has died.

I found 2 copies of People of Pern in a used book store in the original plastic wrap. I'm still kicking myself for only getting one and not both. I fell in love with her work then and always looked for her artwork. Her talent will be missed.

I Currently have a copy of The People of PERN on order, due to arrive early next week. She did an excellent job of putting faces into the books! Rest in Peace !

I didn't meet her in person, but I did correspond with her several times and she was always wonderful. She will be missed greatly.
