Cool More to Explan About Myself and Vision Problems!

Hi all members it may take me a bit long to respond to a post, thanks to a friend a full working copy of a program called ZoomText (r)m its helping to reading and typing better, its going to take a bit to understand it. ing at bit and at myself.

It has many aids that can help me to read and type of the post. My vision is hit and miss at time so I this porst system can keep up with fingers, for my muind and fingers are typing faster that the screen reader can read it.
It quite a cool progam with many featechers!

It has many type of voices to use.

Looks like it'll take it's time just to catch up to you then but if it helps you out, it's better then nothing at all.

Many types of voices means the program reads the webpage to you, like software made for the blind?

Hans- have you tried the read-out -loud function in Acrobat for Dutch language documents? It's very funny! The people at Gent showed me it when I was there.

I'm glad you've got a new program Ginny!

Yeah, I've tried that and Apple's and Microsoft's inbuilt functions plus the read function in Microsoft's ebook reader, they're all functional but don't come near anything useful Well, maybe the operating system stuff I mentioned because those are only short commands but even those I would hate to have to use...

Have fun with it, Ginny, you'll figure it out! Just don't feel like you have to understand it all in a hurry.

As for reading the instruction its in "print" not realy easy to see. Its packed for our "trade" at the end this week, that who had an Window XP non working right now so he can't use with Window Vista "shrug shoulders".

I am going see if I can get some extra RAM to help speed it a bit. I well keep you posted as I can!

It'll probably take all 32 bits

Don't start on the 64 bits!

Arghh Hans I nearly blew klah out my nose reading that. :-P :-) or those hexadecimal bits. ;-)
<Snicker.

Good luck on the restoration Ginney. I know that's a big pain in the backside. I've had to do that too many times. Installing the older modelms, newer printers and wireless routers can be a arduous pain in the buttocks.
I've bad eyesight as well, can't see well mid rang or far away without glasses, and with them the sight isn't good enough to drive. Fine detail close up work like sewing, I can do with a free-standing light up magnifier.

Computer work, I have the print as large as I can get away with without having to scroll sideways to read. I still have to sit several centimetres away from the screen. (3-6 inches)

In Vista you need all 32 bits or is it 64 bit system which take up a large bit of meory to run Vista along with Zoom-Text runing I don't recall which one its its!

Once its printed I can't read it unless its in very dark iarge print and only for a short time or it well blur together!

For some odd reason the screen let me read print, large print with voice backing me up!

Also having problem control the mouse, need either to buy a new one and/or new keyboard or "Dragon Nataul Speaking" (sp) or JAWS or (Jawbone) with can work iwth it! "Shrug shoulders"

Thanks for the suport all! I have good days and bad day! Also I get irk sometime when I get "sighted folk" who like helping but not asking me what this box is used for I've lost some "kits" all ready to give to others who have need of aid in reading printing materal or friend of those in need! I do work for my local WI branch of the program for the blind, low vision or have a phyical handicap.

(No dispeced to anyone here!)
