I got lovely things from Santa! A beautiful Wizard of OZ snow globe, a tiny little snow globe with a blue dragon in it, my gorgeous blue dragon that Shalyn made, (seeing a pattern here?!). To take pictures of all of that, I received a teeny, tiny, adorable Nikon digital camera. Fits in my palm and it's a "perty" metallic red color! Now I need to learn how to use it!

"Incohol", Anneli? Must be the opposite of "Outcohol" - which we sincerely hope never happens! I'm currently having a glass of Harvey's Bristol Cream. Mmmmmmm!

I suppose that lingering over a Benden tipple is better than bendeng over linger and tippling into your drink.

At Christmas do dolphins pull prawn crackers?

OH NO Anneli, that sounds a bit wet to me...

Peter, I see that you are already in fine form for the New Year.

Cilla...a toast to you my friend... to celebrate a very Merry Christmas indeed.

With all the new marvelous books, especially one very beautiful art book , that I recieved for Christmas...I am going to have to have a few more shelves built...with the top shelf saved for the three new dragons that Santa left to live with me.

Sara, sooooooooo did Santa leave anything surprising after all?

I got my Water Filter! xDD

-Thinks- Stationary, Socks, A photo Album (Ready for my Copenhagen Pics!). My Nana and Grandad also gave the three grandchildren a lot of money each. The ther two had theirs in trust funds since they're so young, but I'm spending mine on a new Laptop that I need for University. ^^

((And a very nice person sent a book I've been wanting for months, inscribing it to me when I thought I was just borrowing it. I jumped up and down when I saw that)).

Kibbie gave me a beautiful book that she made with information about mythical creatures. I am very proud of her she put a lot of effort in to the book. She did a ton of research about each creature & put in personal notes on each one. Mom said she did the research all by herself & told Mom what to type.
Kibbie & hubby also gave me a pair of large pink fuzzy slippers. It is just what my hurting foot needs.

That sounds great, Maw, and the book that Kibbie made must be very, very special!

You still have to honour that promise of pictures of Kibbie and the bags but we'll be patient ntil your camera and computer start to behave

Isn't there some sort of social norm being broken if alcohol is not consumed at New years? 0_o

I won't be going out tomorrow night (I don't fancy going into a bar with a walking stick this year) but a nice bottle of wine will be opened and consumed with my grandparents as usual. ^^

I hate being around a bunch of drunk people so I'll be staying here at Mom's.
Tiny(hubby) will probably go find some trouble to get into.
Tammy, my sister who lives with Mom, doesn't drink so she keeps the kids. This year she will have Kibbie, niece Robin, 3yr old Madison & a friend with her son Jayson. Jayson is Kibbie's love intrust, he just doesn't know it yet. Kibbie & Jayson are 12 & Robin act 12. Tammy gets all the kids gingerbread houses & 20 pounds of cany. By midnight there will be candy & icing ALL over the house. It shoud be a fun eve.

You can be as "fluent" as you want with the afcohol, Anneli! (I'm starting to wonder how far we can take this, and just how silly we could get if we were actually typing inder the unfluence? )

I know one person who will not have too much to drink on New Year's Eve.

I'm still learning to acquire a taste for alchohol. The only drinks that could tempt me would be a glass of white wine, or a chocolate martini with a half shot of vodka.
