Gotta be one of the best modern teaching ballads around. Thanks for pointing me to a better version than I previously had.

The Apollo 13 ballad is one of my faves. Wish someone would put it together with clips from the film.

As might be expected, I'm still finding/collecting songs appropriate to teaching. A bunch of teachers, apparently in the U.S. have put up songs on YouTube to help their students remember subjects ranging from our Presidents to advanced physics.

Most notably though I've found a lot of Irish singers putting out songs about our American Civil war as well as our Revolutionary war. I speak of Derek Warfield and the Black Irish Band. I love the accents as it makes them sound very Pernese in my mind. Danny O'Flaherty is also quite good.

I've actually made a start of cataloging appropriate songs so that I can maybe find them more easily than just looking through my unorganized play lists on YouTube.

I was also very pleased to find a pretty good song for Guy Fawkes Day, a phenomenon I was unaware of until recently.
