Default Crossroads Adventure novels by Jody Lynn Nye

I was browsing through my local second-hand book store recently and I came across these two goodies. They are the Crossroads Adventure novels of Pern by Jody Lynn Nye - Dragonfire and Dragonharper. I searched long and hard for my copies (I took me several years to find them on eBay) and then suddenly, here were both copies in the local store, just sitting there on the shelf. I thought that I would grab them up and offer them to my fellow Pern collectors.

As you can see from the photos below, they are in quite good condition. They both have minor shelf wear along the edges of the covers and Dragonfire has some creases on the spine. I don't think that Dragonharper has ever been read as the book seems quite crisp. Unfortunately, the book store stamped their logo and address on the inside page, as you can see in the photo.

I'm only asking for what I paid for them, $5 US each plus whatever it will cost to post it to the buyer. I will only charge the exact postage - no "padding" to the price that way. I live in Canada, so for overseas buyers, postage will be higher than for anyone over here in North America. I am willing to ship any where in the world and will provide a shipping quote when asked. Please email me with your mailing address and I'll let you know what the total cost would be.

Please PM with any questions and inquiries. Thanks for looking.

Sarah

I guess I forgot to add that I prefer payment via paypal, but I will accept other methods of payment as well. Just email me and let me know how you would like to pay me.

Thanks for the compliment Hans.

I know how long and hard I had to search for my copies, that I wanted to help out any other fellow collectors who were struggling with finding their copies too. I just got lucky with finding these in the local used book store and I wanted to pass my good fortune on to my fellow A MoMers.

I would like either of them: I've been looking for a while now.

If Jube wants '-fire' I'd like '-harper'

PM me the postage to UK. I'm quite happy with slow and cheap (LOL)

I am not buying just would like to comment. I've "browed" both books. If I recall right I had send them to the libary I was browing from early. "inter-libary loan" I don't recall which one had needed some TLC for it cover fell apart just after I got. I didn't read had note added and returned to them from TLC. Got a different copy

I am not use to that type of adventer I worked my way and it was fun.

P'ter, I have spares of those titles I am willing to sell, but those are very good copies and I want at least my money back on those (and they were more expensive than lucky Sarahlin's )

I also have a drag-in-the-dirt copy (is that how you call them, Lady Maelin?) of Dragonfire you can have for the cost of postage if you don't mind a bleached and damaged front cover. This particular copy is special because it has been owned by two very avid AMC collectors at one time... namely Becky and me (although our names are not in it)

Darn it. I misread, P'ter. I thought Dragonfire was the one you wanted. You must have been confused, sorry.

Hans I DO want Dragonfire too, but I'll have to wait a few weeks before I can afford it.

A copy owned by both you AND Becky would be very precious; I'd love to have it in due time.

Hans, it's nice to see you pass on that copy.....especially to another MoMer! Maybe when P'ter finds a better copy he can pass it on to someone else here. We'll have a traveling copy of Dragonfire that is 'good luck' in finding a better copy once you have it in your hands.

Sarahlin...just a kindly suggestion...maybe it would be a good idea if you take your email addy out of your first post about your books...and just have interested MoMers get a hold of you in the private message area of MoM. You could get some mighty...... odd emails with it showing publicly like that...

Litwolf: they're branching programme books.

You start reading the first bit and then are left with choices of what your character(s) are to do next. According to what you choose you are sent to a different page. So you can read the book a number of times and never get the same story.

And no; they're not Todd's books!

Liwolf, they are great little books and you don't have to play the game to be able to ejoy the tale. When reading you do have to make the choices given but the actual game you don't need to play (at least I never did).

Dragon Harper is about young Robinton as Journeyman Harper and Dragon Fire is about Mirrim in the South.

The author is Jody Lynn Nye, author of the Dragonlover's Guide en co-author of Anne in the Ship and Doona series. I can recommend them!

Sarahlin...I would also have made that type of mistake a few years back, but was gently warned about not doing it, by a couple of very dear friends here on MoM....waving thankfully towards Cheryl and Hans.

Hence me only putting in my ebay addy in the signature part below as that's public and people can get hold of me, just as easy there as pm'ing me, I guess and that was courtesy of Shalyn (thanks for that, my dear). We're a very helpful bunch at times

Not these, Nina. I will list a whole bunch of Anne McCaffrey and Pern books soon.

And as said, if you are looking for either of these Pern Crossroads Adventures, I do have spare copies of both in very good or better state, but those will have to fetch at least the prices I paid for them + postage.
