Anyone going to it this year? It's in Chicago. Considering I live right outside of Chicago, I'm very much going. It will be my first con evah.

Yes it is - my plan was to alternate between D*Con and Worldcon but this year I'm not going to any cons

Eastercon in Bradford again next year and (hopefully) Worldcon London 2014.

I would if I could but I'm not a member of Chicon - and as I didn't do Worldcon last year don't qualify at all.

I did become a friend when I was in Melbourne though and will upgrade as soon as it's possible.

If and when it's confirmed perhaps we could arrange a mini-gather?

btw - it's 2 years today if it happens

A London gather in 2014 sounds fantastic. I don't know that I have much of a chance of making it, it depends greatly on what time of year it is held, but I definitely think that as many MoMers as can manage it should go and meet up!

Perhaps we should get a new thread started in the Events forum, so the info is more obvious - rather than buried here in a thread ostensibly about ChiCon?

it would be absolutely marvelous to have tou there, but as you said, it would be great to get as many MoMers there as is humanly possibly!
