Andrzej Sapkowski - The Witcher saga
The Witcher saga (Polish: Wiedźmin) is a series of fantasy short stories, collected in two books, and five novels about the witcher Geralt of Rivia. The author combines elements from Tolkiens and other fantasy books, as well as Slavic mythology. The books have a lot of ironic humor in them, as well as anachronisms. Somewhat like The Song of Ice and Fire, Sapkowski doesn't make his characters only good or only bad, but shows both sides in everyone.
The series have been adapted into a graphic novel, movie, game and TV - series. A very good read. Has anyone else read it? Coments?
