I posted this over 5 years ago on MoM (25.05.06) and I guess it's my tribute to a wonderful author who gave us so much. I honestly don't know what else to say. Thank you and fly high, where-ever you may be, Ms McCaffrey.

HERE, THERE BE DRAGONS

Here, there be dragons,
Those glorious creatures of the sky,
'Ware the dragon Gold,
The queen of majestic beauty.
The Bronze,
Her mate to be.
There be the Brown,
Who fought to gain another day!
Blue and Green,
Protecting me from harm.

Here, there be dragons,
The White,
A rarity of nature,
But more courageous then I,
To brave the fight and win,
Where are you now?
Back in our past,
Or in our future?
Where are you now?

Here, there be dragons,
Where are you, white one?
How can I tell you
Of what I have seen?
Of other worlds and places,
Of other people and times?
They would not have believed!
And if they did,
Would they discover,
What I already know?

Here, there be dragons,
A dragon for life,
'Till death do us part!
But a dragon for life,
Is worth living for!
For a friend is a friend,
That has not let me down,
And will always be forever!
