I just spotted that the site compy thinks I subscribed today to the "Assigned Reading in School" thread. The post itself says second of December?

Did you mean subscribe or reply?

I'm assuming you meant reply, rather than getting a rogue subscription somehow.

Anyhow, the reason between the mismatch of dates is a known issue resulting from having the board treat someone voting on a poll count serve as replying thus bumping the topic up. But because the person didn't post, their name doesn't show as being the last replier, therefore whoever did reply last gets their name attached to the date the last vote was made. It's an oddity, but one there doesn't seem a good solution for -- if a poll allows anonymous voting and if you want the forum to treat a vote as bumping up a thread.
