however wondering what the buildings are used for.

Point the finger at the map and go, umm, pick a spot

Krems an der donau? (Statement - Well within 50km radius of Krems being the central spot in the middle of the 50km radius)

I did learn that Drachen is Dragon so to get off the beaten track of trying to work out what town, these buildings are situated in. Are they related to looking for dragons? Drachenhole and Drachenwand spring to mind here.

What you see is part of the Herzogsburg (Duke's castle) in Perchtoldsdorf, a town on the fringes of Vienna.

2 reasons why I went for it. One I love markets and two, there was something in an article (maybe wikipedia had it) about Peter

after I punched in the question and before I seriously started to look into this particular town. Anyway, Tresa and I must have been thinking the same thing, she got the right district too so well done to her as well! Thanks Hans.
