Did you see District 9? That was rather bloody but it was definitely not a comedy.

I'm not sure if I want to see Avatar or not. 3D isn't really an option as I tend to see the components of optical illusions and I'm not overly impressed by graphics. One of the best sf series in my opinion was done live on TV in the 1950s.
