Seems that we are indeed making huge strides. And i've seen this robot guy on tv as well, and the advertisement it was in, suggested they would be put to use in the future as an alternative for those with little mobility. Now whether they had in mind encasing a human within, or just having it go do the physical things the impaired can't, i dont know. But i thought it was one of the most encouraging developements i've seen lately. And on this site they also pose interesting thoughts about robots and the human ethics involved.
