So I've made some changes again. I was realizing recently that the whole reason I created the gender field in the first place was so that members would know the correct pronouns to use for each other, as usernames are often ambiguous, and sometimes members find it insulting to have the wrong pronoun used. Which means we don't need to ask for gender, just for your preferred pronouns. So I scrapped the old field and created a new one.

It is not required, but if you wish please edit your profile to make a selection. You should have the options of entering custom pronouns as well. If you do make a selection it will appear in the box at the left along with your name and avatar and etc, making it easy for other users to reference if they are replying to you.
