Re: Dragonrider Psychic Abilities (or, what openings are left for 9th Pass stories?)

My understanding was that mentasynth had been used on humans (not the Pernese settlers themselves) at some point prior to Pern's colonization--perhaps generations prior; that said experimentation was...

An inverted V is just that: take a V and flip it vertically. The leader is at the point, and the two arms of the V spread out behind and to either side. A chevron is technically just a V, either...

Re: Rank issues

If you figure roughly a bronze, four browns, eight blues and 16 greens in a wing at nearly full strength, I'd have four sub-wing elements of one brown, two blue and four green. Greens don't fly a...

IIRC, Lessa's described as tiny (height and bulk wise) but not lacking in feminine endowment. Biggest problem is Beckinsale's too tall for Lessa, but as she's one of the top three best looking women...

Concur, I recall there being concern about whether Ruth could bear the weight and deliberate over-caution due to Jaxom's status as a Lord Holder.
