Re: Ral Partha Bronze Dragon of Pern

You can get professional model painting services. They usually work on wargaming miniatures (which do include dragons sometimes depending on what kind of wargaming is going on).

I'm going to have...

Re: What is happening

I was not an Oxford or MIT grade student but I am a physicist (I'm currently in the twilight zone between PhD student and postdoc). My advice to him is to read around the subject. There are some good...

Re: Worldcon 2014 in London: Loncon3

You'd have to take Maelin to Gent if you stopped off in Belgium. If I recall there's a painting there that she might like (I think it's the Reubens but I can't remember exactly)

Re: Did Lessa need to go back?

I always wondered when the deterioration really set in, was it just after the oldtimers came forward or did it really kick in when the next pass didn't start on time? That might have an impact on...

I'm sticking around for a bit longer as I'm involved in a new project.

Of course! It'll be in December though. I'll even send you a copy of my thesis when it's printed, if you like.

Re: Helllloooooo!

It has to go to the committee for checking. Then I make corrections and then I have to defend it for an hour to the committee in public.

It was nice. Stu's Mum lives there so we went for a visit.
