Earth has semetry of 4,6,and 8 limbed animals with the Myripods being the exception. (Milipeds and centipeds ect.)

I thought a spider claw might be a spider-like animal with big crab pincher claws. That can walk forawrd and no terran limits it, even walking up walls. <shudder> Not something I wanna run into.
