There's a reason why so many Finns decided to settle in the Great Lakes area, on both sides of the border, about 150 to 100 years ago. The similarity of climate explains a lot.

Oh wow, lucky you! I love the LotR movies, especially the extended editions. The stuff they made for the movies is amazing and I really enjoy the making of documentaries as well.

No, we visited Kiruna (the ESA "space town" of the North) in Sweden and drove past Narvik in Norway. Tornio/Haparanda was a fun experience, you can literally walk across the border.
