Re: who are you like?

i'm a combination of Lessa, in that i'm smallish and have the temper of a volcano and i'm female; also i'm a lot like F'lar sometimes as well as Iantine (i'm also an artist that loves capturing the...

Re: Would you want to be a shellperson?

:D i'd also choose being a shellperson rather than being dead, but preferably on-planet; and YES TO GRANATH i would also find myself a moto-prosthetics body as soon as i can afford it.

Re: The ship avenged

i'm always a sukker for baddies and i must admit, the Kolnari was probably thus far the most horrific baddies for me of all Mccaffrey's books! Ugh, they really had me shivering.

I enjoyed the...

Re: Larsdahl

Gidget i think it makes absolute sense; it's like someone calling their art professor with frizzy hair 'Prof.Friz' or some other nickname. Of course being the guildmaster gives you authority which...

Smile Re: Freedom: The Good Guys and Favourites

i must say Zainal would be my favourite and i would also trade places with Kris; but Mitford's loyalty to humanity makes him also a very likeable character; Kris herself is very human and at times...

Re: I think Pern should stay away from the wonders of Technology

i also enjoyed Masterharper immensely! It was the humanity of the harper and his trials that really did it for me...although he had to become famous

Re: I think Pern should stay away from the wonders of Technology

i definitely agree with spaceman that plumming and computers would be a huge improvement; yet we dont want some evil guy exporting all the dragons to mining planets and 'utilising' them...that's...

Re: Favourite Brawn?

I loved Alex also because he fell in love with Tia's personality; but the relationship between Helva and her 'first love' Jennan was also beautiful to me. but i'll stick with alex...

Cool I think Pern should stay away from the wonders of Technology

I say this because one of the best parts of the books is that it is so isolated and underdeveloped. Who knows what's been going on in the Universe and how advanced they are nowadays; or maybe some...
