I think perhaps Kibbie meant "10 Items" as in 10 items on her reading list. R2005 had just mentioned that she had a lengthy to be read list.

So, new word for Kibbie's spelling practice, items!

She hasn't written it yet, and isn't under any sort of contract (ie no deadline to meet), so I'd guess it'll be at least a year if not a few before it's published.

There was a little bit of grief shown by Harry over Dobby, but still not enough to make me cry or even tear up. I feel as though the readers are expected to provide the feeling of loss themselves,...

I ended up with the impression from Rowling's interview that Ginny may just be staying home to raise the kids, but I wouldn't swear to that being correct.

I agree Brenda that the fuss about the death of "major" character(s) was highly over-rated. Fred's was the most important death, and he has an identical twin so it's like she only half-killed him...

apparently, Rowling is going to be writing an encyclopedia of the characters, and it will have more details on the fates of chracters (among other things).

Oh, I liked Dobby too, and Kreacher. But it's hard to get worked up over his death.

Eh, she only killed second string characters (excepting Dumbledore, but that was last book and kinda obvious so his protoge could prove himself on his own).

It was entertaining but not...
