Re: What is happening

I spend half the time in denial about being 26 (LOOOOL) this year, so I can only imagine how you're feeling. I hope she's enjoying it and doing well for herself!

Re: Jora

I'm going to take a guess here, and say that part of the problem here [where things like this didn't happen] was a 'led by example' kind of issue. When F'lon [who we know was definitely a...

Six hundred percent true to Pern or not, I'm absolutely enchanted with the vibe it gives off [because actually, it's the same vibe I got from reading the Harper Hall Trilogy the first time -- funny...

This is kind of Le Awkward. Because it's been ages. Most of you have me on Facebook or Skype anyway, so you get to see me in all my snarky, irrational glory.

I would say it might partly be because it was basically what she's conditioned herself to do for the last decade before that moment. Perceived threat = flee (potentially to fight another day, in the...

Re: Is Ruth a run... er, rat-dragon?

^This.

Though I'd pay just about anything to see someone actually balls up and tell Mnementh or Ramoth (or any Queen, really...or hell, just a dragon in general) that they're 'too plain'.

That man made watching Australia bearable. Being raised around drovers, I was rather astonished that he pulled the stereotype off so well.
