That sounds about right. Also, I think in at least one of the books, there's mention of a type of Pernese bush that's rich in oil. I can't remember which one though.

It says in Dragonlover's Guide to Pern that they brought goats (also for milk and meat), llamas, and sheep for wool and hair for spinning, and they brought long haired cattle among their herds too....

Also it turns out that, contrary to popular belief, moss actually does need sunlight to grow, it just grows in the shade because it needs a damp environment too.

Could glows actually be a type of moss or lichen, since they can grow on rocks? I'm learning more towards a moss, since that can be cultivated... That could also explain it growing in swamps.
