national novel writing month

I found this(http://www.nanowrimo.org/) program recently, and decided to try it. I know that I'm not the only one who likes to write on here, so I thought i'd share it. (Was this the right place to??)

I guess it is.

I've done this a couple of times now although I'm not sure if I will this year or next as I currently have rather a lot of writing to do work-wise.

It is great fun though. The first year I tried I failed miserably but last year I managed to finish a week early. Unfortunately academic papers don't count and I have two planned before Christmas. :)

I haven't not, but I have a sound board for some of it, and beta one thing is trying to come up with a new world and more

I'll be doing this this year! Or at least attempting it, don't know if I'll have the output to really finish it.

I hear Mercedes Lackey is currently writing a novel from a first person male perspective. So, taking that as a dare from someone who has no idea who I am, I am going to attempt a first person female perspective.

I've never had the guts to try NaNoWriMo!! I have a friend who has done it and actually produced a self published work from it so I know it CAN be done. :)

Yeah, it'll be fun! Definitely gotta get an outline or something done ahead of time so you can power through writing. I think that's organization is super important for this.

If I had a good plot in mind I might try it sometime, but without a well-formed idea it seems pointless to me. Good luck to those that are giving it a shot!

Kibby is at my niece's place tonight. She called me to inform me that I HAD to put school work on hold for the entire month on Nov. and let her have the computer all day so she can do the nano writing challenge.

I informed I was not puting school work on hold for the entire month. She is FUNNY.

Kibby is 16.

She has started her story. I did not have time. I need to get the story I am working on for my niece, Madison, done by Friday. It is her 7th birthday. I have it written I just need to find pics. for it.

yah, I don't have the option of even trying to get rid of school work, so this is proving a bit much for me... oh well.(thank you for the good luck Cheryl, it appears that I will need it.)
