Math question
Kibby is taking algebra and her book say if you add two negatives you get a positive. How is that possible? We be confused.
|
Re: Math question
You don't.
If you multiply two negatives you get a positive. What's the book called? Can you give us a direct quote from it? |
Re: Math question
Sounds like Kibby's dysgraphia is kicking in.

Re: Math question
Multiplying and dividing: like signs give a possitive result.
Mixed signs give a negative. |
Re: Math question
Dysgraphia messing with being able to write, fine motor skill. Not reading.
I'll see if she can find what it says. It will be a couple of days it is an on line only book. I use the word book loosely |

Re: Math question
Yes thats true - to negatives give you positive.
But its easy to remember in the way: two different signs zawsze give you negative and two same signs give you positive. |
Re: Math question
Only if you're multiplying or dividing.
